Welcome to the Heritage and Wellbeing for NHS Staff (HerWellNHS) Study Portal
This study aims to assess and identify the wellbeing effects of visits to heritage sites for NHS staff. You can participate if you experience wellbeing needs and have not received treatment or been diagnosed with a mental health problem in the last 12 months.
Find out more about the study and register (using your PHU Trust email address) to take part.
Once you have registered you can log in to explore the HerWellNHS interactive map. It will give you suggestions for different places to visit in Portsmouth, the surrounding area, and online.
Project partners The National Trust, National Museum of the Royal Navy, Mary Rose Museum and Portchester Castle are providing free tickets for participants until 31st May 2023. Instructions on how to claim these are available after registration.
Each time you visit a heritage site (whether it is the first time or a return visit) we ask you to tell us about it by filling in a short questionnaire as soon as possible after your visit.
You can visit the HerWellNHS website at any time during the study to get inspiration for places to visit. The website can be accessed on a mobile device.
